One of the grandest trade shows for the building industry has come to a close. The 2015 NAHB International Builders Show followed the theme “All Homes Start Here”, which was experienced by more than 55,000 attendees.
The three-day event was packed with learning sessions from top experts in the field of building. Visitors were also treated to more than 3,700 exhibitors featured in five different shows, and ProEst was privileged to be one of the exhibitors.
Here are some of the highlights of this year’s NAHB International Builders Show:
- The show kicked off with ESPN analyst and former National Football League head coach Jon Gruden leading the opening ceremonies. His message to show participants was to seize the current rise in housing starts and expect great things to come.
- The Design & Construction Week™ Concept Kitchen showcased the creation of a kitchen with the intent to allow full–sized families to enjoy the space. Certified kitchen designer Jonas Carnemark showed the details of making a kitchen that follows this novel concept.
- The 32nd edition of the New American Home showed how current trends and modern technology can be integrated into a house. Thousands of spectators were able to see a home built with the latest products and technologies that could define the next generation of building.
- Visitors were eager to see who would win in the Best of IBS Product Awards show. This marks the third time that NAHB is recognizing the best in the building world. SnapPower won the Overall Best in Show award for its innovative SnapRays Guidelight product [pictured].
