As we say goodbye to 2020 and look forward to the year ahead, it seems like the perfect time to share what we have planned for ProEst over the next twelve months, including five New Year “resolutions” for our product and our company that I hope will have a meaningful impact on our clients, colleagues and employees. Here goes:
1 We’ll sign more top talent for our teams
Last year, we added a dozen experienced and talented people to the ProEst team, and we plan to do more of the same in 2021. In addition to making ongoing enhancements to our software, we will focus on building a team that’s ready, willing and able to anticipate and address every client need, from technical support and contract inquiries to account management and training. We’re committed to finding industry professionals that are the “best of the best” for each role here at ProEst; we’ve seen from experience that outstanding people are the foundation for product and service excellence, and we intend to deliver both.
2 We’ll accelerate customer service response
Maintaining peak performance for ProEst in the client environment has always been our priority, and this year, we’re doubling our efforts to listen to feedback, respond to questions and resolve issues as quickly and easily as possible. To that end, we will further develop the Client Services team with personnel additions to both the Account Management and Implementation Management groups, and have plans to streamline the issue resolution process with fewer—and briefer—interactions when it comes to technical resolution.
3 We’ll amplify the value of ProEst CRM
Customer data is an asset that’s far too valuable for contractors not to mine and use. That’s why this year, we plan to expand ProEst CRM functionality to become a central part of our platform. We’ve seen that many ProEst clients are still using other—CRM-specific—applications, which isn’t ideal. Because we’re committed to providing high-performance preconstruction functionality all in one place, we’ll be rolling out fast and convenient mobile CRM capabilities within ProEst itself. It’s a far better way for your business development team to spot new opportunities, update pipeline activity and get accurate monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts—all with the speed and convenience of anytime/anywhere mobile access.
4 We’ll evolve ProEst Bid Day functionality
We’ve heard the requests for a faster, simpler bid day process, and this year, we’ll deliver it. Most of our clients still rely on spreadsheets to analyze subcontractor proposals, an approach that’s slow and inefficient at best— not to mention prone to error. Our plan is to simplify Bid Day functionality within the ProEst platform, enhancing the flexibility of the analysis stage and giving subcontractors a new ability to review and submit proposals.
5 We’ll prioritize BIM software integration
Cloud-based Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a powerful tool for contractors, enabling the virtual construction of a building as a “practice run” for actual construction in the real world—minus any missing components, design flaws or potential engineering pitfalls. This year, we’ll connect the ProEst cloud platform to leading-edge BIM functionality to help contracting teams better coordinate, collaborate and predict probable outcomes in the all-important pre-construction phase.
As always, we welcome your feedback and value your suggestions. If there are aspects of ProEst you’d like to see addressed as the new year unfolds, please reach out and let us know.
