Stepping Up to a New Challenge

Like the rest of the world, the construction industry is feeling the impacts of the pandemic, a global crisis of unprecedented scale.  That’s why I want you to know that all of us here at ProEst are committed to meeting the challenges of Covid-19 right alongside you -- our customers, colleagues, partners, associations, and the industry as a whole. Below, I’ve outlined what steps we’re taking to support the health, safety and productivity of our community, and how we can collectively ready ourselves for restart and recovery as the world gets back to work.

We’re Working at 100% Capacity

As of March 18th, we were pleased to offer all of our employees the ability to work remotely, the best way to ensure the safety of our personnel while still serving the needs of our clients. This new “virtual” arrangement, while temporary, has made it unnecessary to furlough any of our employees; in fact, we successfully added three new members to the ProEst team last month.

We’ve Added More Resources for Client Support

Our telephone and email support remains fully in place for clients with questions or concerns. In addition, we’re offering special Zoom video meetings that “virtualize” conferences and consultations with members of the ProEst team.

We’re Offering Free Use of the ProEst Platform

While stay-at-home mandates are in place, qualified non-profit organizations and educational institutions will have complimentary use of the ProEst platform to conduct remote-only training and estimating. It is our hope that our partnership with deserving schools and charities will help give communities the continued support they need, without interruption. 

We’re Meeting the Needs of All Remote Users

Even before the workplace limitations caused by Covid-19 were in place, ProEst Cloud has been recognized for its ability to maintain productivity for remote users. Now, what was once a convenience for many is a necessity for most. Our cloud platform continues to enable file sharing and team collaboration without the need to be in the office. 

We’re Adjusting our Travel and Event Schedule

ProEst attendance at scheduled tradeshows and other industry events in 2020 has either been cancelled or postponed in accordance with directives from organizers and state and local authorities. We have also curtailed domestic and international business travel in order to protect the health and safety of our employees and clients. We will issue updates as events and meetings are rescheduled.

We recognize that Covid-19 has created a complex and challenging business environment for all of us.
